Posted by Brian Michael, Mon, October 04, 2010 02:09 PM

  1. Philly Geoff Says:

Any other Raleigh Phillies fans going to Blinco’s for the games on Wednesday or Friday?

  2. bostonkate Says:

This is gonna sound like a wicked dumb question buuut, I’m moving back to Philly on Wednesday. Seeing as I haven’t lived here in quite a few years, I’m not too familiar with the party circuit in town. What are the best places to catch the games?

  3. branderson Says:

    nice but no boston??

anyone know any places in boston?

  4. Stu Says:

Ventor’s sports bar could not be a in a worse part of DC. Guess i’ll be watching at home….

  5. jason in burbank Says:

I’ll be at The Shack in Santa Monica (LA)….great place if you’re way out here on the west coast

  6. Brian Michael Says:

The post has been updated to include Boston, the bar is An Tua Nua.

As for Philly, I would try Chickie and Pete’s, McFadden’s at the Ballpark, the Grey Lodge in NE Philly or whatever your local bar is – they’ll all be fun to watch at!

  7. DAVE Says:

any idea if wogies in nyc is running any specials?

  8. Bart Shart Says:

Nationwide baseball columnist Dayn Perry predicts the Phillies over the Reds in four games. Phillies big advantage: starting pitching. No surprise there.

  9. DAVE Says:

anybody know if wogies in nyc has any deals going on?

  10. bostonkate Says:

@branderson an tua nua on beacon street (c line, st marys stop) is THE philly bar of boston! They’re showing all the playoff games and show the eagles every sunday and have a bunch of specials.

Search the group ‘philadelphia eagles fans of boston’ on facebook. All the info you need is there :)

  11. Bill Says:

    Atlanta?

  12. Austin Says:

Anyone know any out in Palm Springs, CA?? Big help!!!

  13. Chandler Says:

In South Florida, the best Philly sports bar by far is The Parrot in Ft Lauderdale (at Sunrise and A1A). The first time I walked thru the door during the ‘08 World Series I felt right at home.

  14. adam Says:

If anyone knows about a bar in Miami, please post that.

I know about Parrot in Ft. Laudy, but that’s like an hour away. GREAT place, tho.

  15. Phillygirl17 Says:

Is anyone going to be at Ventors in DC? Trying to figure out the best place to watch.

  16. Stu Says:

There is no way I’m making the trip out to Adams Morgan. No metro, not really near anything. Need to find one near a metro.

  17. mikee Says:

adam: Looks like Lost Weekend in Miami Beach might be the place to go. Apparently they fly in Amoroso rolls. However I was also looking for someplace to watch the game on the mainland, in the city of Miami not on the beach.

  18. diana Says:

i can’t believe there is no place in phoenix…i’m SO bummed!!!! i actually had planned to be in philadelphia now, but had to change plans, now i’m so mad!

  19. Sweetie Says:

Los Angeles area? I hear it’s near Santa Monica, isn’t that right?

  20. Sweetie Says:

yeah The Shack …. I just read above…

  21. Steve Says:

I’m debating between Ventnor in DC and Carpool in Arlington, VA tomorrow–both are good spots.

  22. Phillygirl17 Says:

That was the problem I was having with Ventnor, but I can’t figure out where I want to go. Ventnor is a great spot.

  23. Scott Auslander Says:

I can tell you that we get a great Phillies Crowd here at Ventnor and tomorrow and Friday will be a blast…Now I need to go stock the Yuengling & Yeungling Light for tomorrow!!! Hope to see all the DC people here to watch with me tomorrow…

  24. Brian Michael Says:

Upper Deck is your Phillies bar in Phoenix. It’s in Old Scottsdale.

  25. AZHokie Says:

Yes diana, Upper Deck Sports Grill in Scottsdale is the place. It’s also the home of the Desert Eagles Nest on Sundays.

I believe they are having some nice specials for all the Phillies playoff games.

  26. dcphilly Says:

I’ve seen about 4 people on here from D.C. looking for a good spot to watch the game. I too have the same problem it seems like you may have- no metro, not going. That being said, we should just pick a new spot to go to and meet there. It might be late for today’s game, but if anybody in the DC area see’s this, let’s come up with a spot.

  27. Ernie Says:

In DC for the night and heading to Ventnor. Hope the Red and White is in the house, cause watching this game with my gf is just pissing me off.
