Any other Raleigh Phillies fans going to Blinco’s for the games on Wednesday or Friday?

This is gonna sound like a wicked dumb question buuut, I’m moving back to Philly on Wednesday. Seeing as I haven’t lived here in quite a few years, I’m not too familiar with the party circuit in town. What are the best places to catch the games?

The post has been updated to include Boston, the bar is An Tua Nua.
As for Philly, I would try Chickie and Pete’s, McFadden’s at the Ballpark, the Grey Lodge in NE Philly or whatever your local bar is – they’ll all be fun to watch at!

Nationwide baseball columnist Dayn Perry predicts the Phillies over the Reds in four games. Phillies big advantage: starting pitching. No surprise there.

In South Florida, the best Philly sports bar by far is The Parrot in Ft Lauderdale (at Sunrise and A1A). The first time I walked thru the door during the ‘08 World Series I felt right at home.

If anyone knows about a bar in Miami, please post that.
I know about Parrot in Ft. Laudy, but that’s like an hour away. GREAT place, tho.

There is no way I’m making the trip out to Adams Morgan. No metro, not really near anything. Need to find one near a metro.
October 5th, 2010 at 10:54 am
adam: Looks like Lost Weekend in Miami Beach might be the place to go. Apparently they fly in Amoroso rolls. However I was also looking for someplace to watch the game on the mainland, in the city of Miami not on the beach.

I’m debating between Ventnor in DC and Carpool in Arlington, VA tomorrow–both are good spots.
October 5th, 2010 at 7:17 pm
That was the problem I was having with Ventnor, but I can’t figure out where I want to go. Ventnor is a great spot.
October 5th, 2010 at 11:54 pm

Upper Deck is your Phillies bar in Phoenix. It’s in Old Scottsdale.
October 6th, 2010 at 11:34 am
Yes diana, Upper Deck Sports Grill in Scottsdale is the place. It’s also the home of the Desert Eagles Nest on Sundays.
I believe they are having some nice specials for all the Phillies playoff games.

I’ve seen about 4 people on here from D.C. looking for a good spot to watch the game. I too have the same problem it seems like you may have- no metro, not going. That being said, we should just pick a new spot to go to and meet there. It might be late for today’s game, but if anybody in the DC area see’s this, let’s come up with a spot.

In DC for the night and heading to Ventnor. Hope the Red and White is in the house, cause watching this game with my gf is just pissing me off.
