See a new side to your favorite Phillies’ stars, their wives, sports personalities and entertainers on Monday, August 16, 2010, while they participate in this Saks Fifth Avenue high-fashion production to raise funds for the Shane Victorino Foundation.
The evening begins with red-carpet arrivals, followed by a one-hour cocktail reception and silent auction filled with fabulous vacations, sports memorabilia from sports’ brightest stars, dazzling jewelry and other incredible one-of-a-kind items. The 400 attending guests will be treated to an evening of glamour and an event that will certainly highlight the Philadelphia social calendar for years to come! The runway show will precede a live auction and three-course dinner.
The show itself will open with players and wives turned runway models strutting their stuff during this high-energy, fast-paced show. A celebrity emcee will join Melissa and Shane to host the show that will feature five scenes of high-fashion designs from fabulous sportswear to black-tie evening wear.
Individual tickets are $250 and corporate sponsorships are available from $2,500 to $25,000. Click here for more additional information.
Please contact event coordinator Lisa Young at 310-722-1590 or lisa@shanevictorinofoundation.org to reserve your spot today.
The Shane Victorino Foundation, a nonprofit organization created by Philadelphia Phillies All-Star Centerfielder Shane Victorino and his wife Melissa Smith-Victorino, is dedicated to promoting opportunities for underserved youth in Philadelphia and his native-Hawaii by engaging in projects to provide children with educational, recreational and wellness programs.

I know Vic isnt the most popular player in the city of brotherly love, but he is a high class, selfless player off the field, and while his batting average is low, his Homers, doubles, runs, and RBI’s are close to the top of the team, his triples are #1 on the team by quite a few, and the Flyin Hawaiin is still one of my favorites. I always enjoy seeing any of the Phightin Phil’s giving back to the community or raising money for good causes!

I’m glad this is during the offseason instead of in August when our team should be worrying about playing its best and making a final playoff push.

You really make it seem really easy along with your presentation but I find this topic to be really one thing which I think I would by no means understand. It kind of feels too complex and extremely vast for me. I am looking forward for your subsequent post, I will try to get the hang of it!
